Jakarta Industry and Energy Dept is immediately connecting whole street light lamps with smart system. It is aimed to monitor and set the lamps easily.

According to Syamsul Bahri, Head of City Lighting Section for Jakarta Industry and Energy Dept, for this year, as many as 89,414 light emitting diode (LED) lamp with smart system will be installed on protocol, collector, and neighborhood until Thamrin roads.

"The advantages of this lamp with smart system is can be monitored automatically. We will know if there is damage, so this saves cost," he expressed, Tuesday (2/23).

Besides that, the lamp can also send energy use report per lamp, per group and total lamp accurately. It can be integrated with 'Jakarta Smart City'

"It is hoped could minimize crime action at night and provide safety to people," he hoped.
